Crooked teeth can make you feel self-conscious and increase your risks for other issues, such as decay and gum disease. We offer subtle, state-of-the-art Invisalign® treatment to straighten your smile. Invisalign® consists of a set of transparent plastic aligners that gradually shift your teeth into proper position. If you opt for Invisalign®, we will simply provide you with a new custom-made aligner every two weeks until you achieve your desired smile. Many patients prefer Invisalign® to traditional bracket and wire braces because they are discreet and removable, allowing you to simply take them out for eating and daily hygiene. The average treatment time for Invisalign® is just one year, although it will vary based on your particular case.
Teeth that become damaged by severe decay, advanced periodontal disease, traumatic injury, or other issues may require extraction to preserve your oral health. Dr. Sielicki can safely, effectively remove diseased teeth to help you maintain your smile. If necessary, we can also replace lost teeth using dental implants. In addition to regular extractions, our dentist can remove non-impacted wisdom teeth. If your third molars are erupting at an angle, we will refer you to an oral surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
Oral Cancer Screening
Every year, over 45,000 Americans are diagnosed with oral cancer, and this disease has a 43 percent fatality rate within five years of diagnosis. Fortunately, with early detection, oral cancer can be effectively treated to heal patients’ gum tissue and save their lives. Dr. Sielicki performs visual assessments for oral cancer at every routine cleaning and examination. We also conduct annual oral cancer screenings using our advanced VELscope® detection system, which uses fluorescent light to highlight tissue abnormalities. If we notice any irregular symptoms, Dr. Sielicki will recommend appropriate treatment or refer you to a specialist.
Our dental team strives to provide outstanding preventive care so we can spot, treat, and ward off any conditions before they become more problematic or too complex to treat. In addition to providing regular cleanings and examinations, Dr. Sielicki uses innovative techniques to assess your dental risks and diagnose conditions. We use our CariFree® risk assessment system to evaluate your oral pH and check for the presence of decay- and gum disease-causing bacteria. We can also send your saliva samples to OralDNA® labs, where specialized technicians can assess them for periodontal bacteria and oral cancer risk factors.
Say goodbye to biting on impression material for several minutes, having a numb mouth and jaw ache. Dr. Ann Sielicki now has a camera that can capture your full dentition in seconds and then transfer this to the computer. Temporary prostheses are exactly what the name suggests: temporary. With CEREC the final prosthesis is inserted directly without any temporary prostheses. CEREC enables your dentist to insert esthetic ceramic crowns or partial crowns in a single session. Thanks to your new dental prosthesis made by CEREC, your smile will be just as lovely many years later as it is directly after receiving the prosthesis.
Sleep Apnea Therapy
Millions of people suffer from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), a condition in which a narrow or collapsed airway prevents sufficient air from reaching your lungs. If your body lacks adequate oxygen, it may startle you awake so you can breathe properly. This is called an apnea, and patients can suffer from dozens or even hundreds of them every night without even realizing it. Sleep apnea can cause headaches, snoring, persistent exhaustion, and insomnia. This condition can also lead to stroke, hypertension, liver problems, or even death if left untreated. Fortunately, many patients can find relief with oral appliances, devices that keep the jaw in proper position and the airways open during sleep.

Tightness and tension in your jaw can create a variety of uncomfortable symptoms, including headaches, muscle soreness, and unexplained toothache. Bruxism occurs when you clench your teeth together, grinding them down over time. This condition can also contribute to temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder. This causes the cushions in the jaw joint, which spans from the temple to the lower jaw, to become stretched, damaged, or misaligned. If you suffer from bruxism, TMJ, or both, Dr. Sielicki can provide occlusal guards to alleviate your symptoms. These are custom-made plastic appliances that hold your teeth and jaw in a more comfortable position and prevent dental damage.
Your gums are a very important part of your smile and your oral health. Dr. Ann Sielicki can utilize a variety of techniques to help you maintain healthy gum tissue. The same bacteria that cause cavities can also lead to periodontal infection, so we use our CariFree system to assess your mouth’s pH and neutralize it using xylitol, fluoride, and other treatment techniques. Dr. Sielicki can also test your saliva for gum disease risk factors using the OralDNA lab system. We can use powerful, accurate soft tissue lasers to treat gum disease, remove abnormal tissue, treat ulcers or cold sores, and contour your tissue for improved aesthetics.

Dr. Sielicki is dedicated to using some of the latest technologies to preserve and enhance our patients’ oral health. We can utilize the CariFree Caries Risk Assessment system to evaluate and improve your oral pH. We frequently test patients’ saliva with the OralDNA system to assess their risks for gum disease, oral cancer, and other conditions. During procedures, our dentist can use the DentalVibe® vibration tool to stimulate your gum tissue and make local anesthetic injections more comfortable. In addition, our Onset® by Onpharma injection formula improves the pH of local anesthesia injections and allows the medication to take effect more quickly. Our Isolite mouthpiece also takes strain and pressure off of your jaw during treatment to keep you comfortable and make procedures more efficient. Once you no longer require local anesthesia, we can use OraVerse injections to swiftly and effectively reverse it so you don’t have to deal with prolonged numbness. Dr. Sielicki also performs annual oral cancer screenings using our fluorescent VELscope® tool. Lastly, we manufacture same-day restorations in the office with our state-of-the-art CEREC® computer-assisted design and milling system.
